SAFETY RULES WHILE HANDLING FIREARMS
- Always keep the gun pointed in a safe direction.
- Always keep the finger off the trigger and out of the trigger guard until ready to shoot.
- Always keep the gun unloaded until ready to use.
SAFETY RULES WHILE ON THE RANGE
- Be sure the gun is safe to operate.
- Know how to use the gun safely
- Use only the correct ammunition for your gun.
- Know your target and what is beyond.
- Wear eye and ear protection.
- Never use alcohol or drugs before or while shooting.
- Store guns so they are not accessible to unauthorized persons.
RANGE RULES
- Members only club that allows guests.
- Members must have a current membership badge on their person while on club property.
- Members must stay with their visiting guests at all times.
- Members and their guests should strive to occupy only one shooting station on the firing lines when mulitple shooters are at the firing line.
- Eye and Ear Protection is required on all ranges.
- The use of alcohol and or drugs is prohibited during or before participating in any shooting activity located on club property.
- No firearms are allowed down range on any firing line.
- The use of .50 caliber BMG or larger military type ammunition is prohibited.
- Shotguns must not be fired with any shot larger than 7.5 shot size.
- Members are responsible for cleaning up their area after range use.
- Automatic weapons require prior approval by the club.
